The Atlin Centre's studio residences are open to people who feel drawn to the natural world for inspiration. The Centre is alive as a creative studio centre and recreational base camp twelve months of the year.
If you have an adventurous spirit and a love for the wilderness, you'll be captivated by the power, mystery and light of the northern land. Every season is special in its own way: Come in September for the spectacular fall colours. Come in December to watch the freeze-up of Atlin Lake. Cross-country ski from November to the end of March. Heli-ski from January to April. Winters here are beautifully bright and sunny and the snow is pristine.
Whether you want to energize your creative process with focused work or want to take time for a wilderness adventure; and whether you want solitude or interaction with others, this special place could be for you.
The Centre is 4 km from the historic village of Atlin and sits on a mountain plateau overlooking British Columbia's largest natural lake. The Centre is on 10 hectares of wooded land adjacent to vast tracks of wilderness. There are 3 main buildings around a spring-fed pond. 
We are currently accepting applications for both long and short term residencies. Single parents with children are welcome.
